*Wearing shoes
When you put shoes on , begin with the right and when you remove them , begin with the left. Or , wear them both, or leave them both off.
Muslim do this many times during the day and night - when entering and leaving masjid, the bathroom, the house, when going to work etc. Whenever the muslims puts on or removes his shoes in accordance with the sunnah, with this intention in mind, he obtains a great reward. And all his actions of Harakaat and Sakanaat will then be according to the Sunnah

* On the Day of Resurrection
As for what will be placed on the Balance on the Day of Resurrection, it has been said that the deeds will be placed on it, even though they are not material objects. Allah will give these deeds physical weight on the Day of Resurrection.
Al-Baghawi said that this was reported from Ibn `Abbas. It is recorded in the Sahih that Al-Baqarah (chapter 2) and Al `Imran (chapter 3) will come on the Day of Resurrection in the shape of two clouds, or two objects that provide shade, or two lined groups of birds.
It is also recorded in the Sahih that the Qur'an will come to its companion (who used to recite and preserve it) in the shape of a pale-faced young man. He will ask (the young man), "Who are you'' He will reply, "I am the Qur'an, who made you stay up sleeplessly at night and caused you thirst in the day. ''

* About the Day of Resurrection-1
On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will inform His servants about what they said and did, whether substantial or minor. Certainly, He witnesses to everything, nothing escapes His observation, and He is never unaware of anything. Rather, He has perfect knowledge of what the eyes are deluded by and what the hearts conceal,
(Not a leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record.)﴿ 6:59
﴾8. And the weighing on that Day will be the true (weighing). So, as for those whose scale (of good deeds) will be heavy, they will be the successful (by entering Paradise).) (9. And as for those whose scale will be light, they are those who will lose themselves for their wrongful behavior with Our Ayat.)
Allah said,
And the weighing), of deeds on the Day of Resurrection, will be the true (weighing)), for Allah will not wrong anyone.
Allah said in other Ayat
And We shall set up the Balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We to take account.21:47
(Surely, Allah wrongs not even the weight of a speck of dust, but if there is any good (done), He doubles it, and gives from Him a great reward.) ﴿ 4:40
Then as for him whose scale (of good deeds) will be heavy. He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). But as for him whose scale (of good deeds) will be light. He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, Hell). And what will make you know what it is (It is) a fiercely blazing Fire!) ﴿101:6-11

*Meeting people
- Give Tasleem:
The messenger of Allah(sal) was asked:
"Which Islam is good (in terms of action)?"
He said: " To feed the people and to say Salaam to those who know and those you do not know."
- Lengthen the greeting:
A man entered upon the Messenger of Allah (sal ) and said:
" Assalamu Alaikum"
The Messenger (sal) replied to the salaam. Then the man sat down and the Messenger (sal) said: "Ten".
Then another man came and said:
"Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah"
The Messenger (sal) replied. Then the man sat down and the Messenger (sal) said:
"Twenty".
Then another man came and said:
"As-salaamu alaykum wa rahumatullahi wa barakaatuh"
The Messenger (sal) replied. Then the mansat down and the Messenger(sal) said:
"Thirty"
Look at how much reward a person inflicts himself by sufficing himself with saying only a part of the salutation. The person should say the entire salaam so that he he attains thirty good deeds.
- Smile, as the Prophet (sal) said:
Do not consider any good things as insignificant-even if it is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face.
- Shake hands,as prophet (sal)said:
There are two muslims who meet each other and shake hands, except that they are forgiven before they depart(from each other).
- Say a Kalimah Tayyibah:
"Say to my slaves to say that which is better. Verily, Shaytaan incites to evil between them. Verily, Shytaan is for mankind a clear enemy"
The prophet(sal)said:
"Al Kalimah Tayyibah is charity"
Al Kalimah Tayyibah has a powerful affect on a person- it brings peace and tranquility ti a person's soul and puts serenity into his heart.
Entering and leaving the Toilet
- Enter with the left foot and leave with the right.
- Supplicate when entering the toilet.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Al-Kubth and Al-Khabaa'ith".
- Supplicate while leaving:
"I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness."
People use the bathroom many times during the day and night. If they observe these sunan for entering and leaving everytime they go, they will fulfill two sunan for entering and two for leaving.
(There are two opinions as to the meaning of Al-Kubth and Al-Khabaa'ith. The first is that it means, all evil and evil doers and the second is taht it means, male and female devils. The toilet is one of their places of abode)
*Benefits of adhering to the Sunnah :
- To reach the level of Love-Love of Allah for his believing slave.
- It is a mean to compensate for any deficiency in the obligatory actions.
- It is a protection from falling into innovation
- It indicates the exaltation of those things that represent the religion of Allah
*Sunnah
Surely, in clinging to the sunnah is safety and security, as Imaam Maalik said:
"The sunnah is like the Ark of Noah whoever embarks on it reaches salvetion and whoever refuses is drowned."
Under this category Sunnah I post all the statements and Actions of the prophet Muhammad (sal) that are performed in a typical day-How may of these are part of our daily lives?
* Waking up
This is the sunnah to be followed after waking up from sleep.
- Wipe the effects of sleep from the face with your hands.
Imaan An Nawawee and Ibn Hajar stated this wiping to de desirable based on the following.
When the Messenger of Allah(sal) woke up, he would sit up and rub away the effects of sleep from his face with his hand.- Say the supplication for waking up:
"All praise is for Allah who gave us life after death(sleep) and to Him is the resurrection."
- Use a Siwak:
When the prophet(sal) woke up from the night (sleep),he used to clean his mouth with a Siwak.
- Snuff Water:
When one of you wakes up from sleep, then snuff water three times. For indeed, Shaytaan spends the night in the upper part of his nose.
- Wash both hands three times:
When one of oyu wakes up from sleep, he must not dip his hands into a utensil until he washes it three times.

*The meaning of Al fatihah and its various names:
Messenger of Allah said
Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabbil-`Alamin is the Mother of the Qur'an, the Mother of the Book, and the seven repeated Ayat of the Glorious Qur'an.)
It is also called Al-Hamd and As-Salah, because the Prophet said that his Lord said,
The prayer (i.e., Al-Fatihah) is divided into two halves between Me and My servants.' When the servant says,
`All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of existence,' Allah says, 'My servant has praised Me.'
Al-Fatihah was called the Salah, because reciting it is a condition for the correctness of Salah - the prayer. Al-Fatihah was also called Ash-Shifa' -the Cure
It is also called Ar-Ruqyah (remedy), since in the Sahih, there is the narration of Abu Sa`id telling the the story of the Companion who used Al-Fatihah as a remedy for the tribal chief who was poisoned. Later, the Messenger of Allah said to a Companion
(How did you know that it is a Ruqyah)
Al-Fatihah was revealed in Makkah as Ibn `Abbas, Qatadah and Abu Al-`Aliyah stated. Allah said
And indeed, We have bestowed upon you the seven Mathani (seven repeatedly recited verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatihah) (15:87).
Allah knows best.
