* The Benefits Of Sincere Repentance

One of my friend asked me to read this article and I gained enough knowledge about repentance. I would like to share my friends who read this blog.

This is by A Student of Darul Uloom, Bury.

Imaam Ibn Qayyim rahmatullahi alaihe mentions certain benefits:

1. Repentance is the most noble and beloved form of obedience in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. He loves those who repent and it is because of His love for His creation that He tests them with sins so that He may shower His blessings and favours upon them after they repent.

2. Repentance has a status that no other form of worship has. This is why Allah is extremely happy when a servant repents just as a traveller is happy when he finds his lost mount in the desert.

This pleasure (of Allah) has a great impact on the heart of the one repenting. Hence, the repenting person reaches the status of being amongst the beloved through his repentance.

3. Repentance brings about humbleness and a sense of helplessness that is not easily acquired through other forms of worship.

4. Allah’s statement, "Except those who repent, have faith and good deeds, those Allah will charge their sins for good deeds. Certainly Allah is most forgiving and merciful."
(Qur'aan 25:70)
This is a greatest glad tiding for those who repent and combine their repentance with faith and good deeds.

Repentance breeds good deeds, whilst sinning (without repentance) can cause deprivation of obedience altogether. It has been said that committing sins regularly will darken and harden the heart. It may even lead a person to reject Allah completely (Allah forbid) or lead him to commit a bigger sin. There is no recourse for a sinner except to ask Allah for forgiveness and to feel great regret for his actions.

Repentance is to repent from the heart, to train the heart into obedience and to make a firm resolution never to commit the sin again.

The repenting person should remember three facts:

1. The grave consequence of sins.

2. The painful punishment for sins and

3. The helplessness of the servant with regards to these two things.

* Non- Muslim Love

This is for friends who are in love with a non muslim. Many Muslims are confused whether they can love a non muslim. This post would give you right knowledge.

If you are in love with a non muslim then you have two options in it.

Your first option is:
The woman must be a chaste kitaabiyya (be among people of the book, i.e. Christian or Jewish), and in that case you can marry her following what Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning):

"…and chaste women among the believers and chaste women among those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians)…"
Al-Maidah 4:5.

The second option you have is that she converts to Islam and then you marry her.

Otherwise, remember the hell fire, and remember what Allaah said in the Qur’aan (interpretation of the meaning):

"And do not marry Al-Mushrikat ( idolatresses, etc.) until they believe ( worship Allaah alone). And indeed a slave woman who believes is better than a (free) Mushrikah (idolatress, etc.) even though she pleases you. And give not your daughters in marriage to Al-Mushrikoon until they believe (in Allaah alone) and verily, a believing slave is better than a (free) Mushrik ( idolater, etc.), even though he pleases you. They (Al-Mushrikoon) invite you to the Fire, but Allaah invites (you) to Paradise and Forgiveness by His leave, and makes His aayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) clear to mankind so that they may remember ".

Al-Baqarah, verse #2:221

The meaning of "a slave woman who believes is better than a non-believer" is simply that she is better than a non-believer who is (free) even if the non-believer pleases you, even if she pleases you, EVEN IF SHE PLEASES YOU!

* What happens during our sleep.

Recently i read this and wanted to share with you all. Have you ever wondered what happens after we sleep. This post clearly depicts what happens after we are in deep sleep.

It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death;

and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep:

those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He

keeps back (from returning to life),but the rest He

sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed.

Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect. >Quran, Chapter 39 verse 42

This means:

every time you sleep, Allah takes your souls, amongst many other souls he takes during sleeping. Then Allah decides who is going to be given another chance. For those who are blessed with another chance, Allah will permit their souls to go back to their bodies, the rest he keeps back from returning to life i.e.they die.

This means: each time you go to bed you should never be sure you will get up again, you ONLY have 50% chance for coming back to life.

This means: each time you go to bed you should be prepared for your hereafter.

This means: when you wake up the next day you should appreciate how lucky (blessed) you are. And say "Blessed be the one who returned my soul to my body, and granted me another chance". This is what the prophet PBUH used to say when he wakes up.

This means: when you wake up the next day you should make sure you utilize the new day as much as you can before sleep time comes,in case the new day you are living is the last chance you are given.

This means: you should try to make sure you recite sura AL-MULK (chapter 67) before sleeping, because the prophet PBUH promised that one who reads this sura before sleeping is saved from the punishment of the grave.May Allah forgive us all and bless us with a happy life in this dunya and and the hereafter.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"A soorah from the Qur'aan containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the soorah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi'l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk]." Tirmidhi
